Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Pregadyne M is a fixed-dose combination capsule containing pregabalin and mecobalamin (methylcobalamin), developed by Zinnia Life Sciences. It is indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain, such as diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, and spinal cord injury-related nerve pain. Pregabalin acts as an alpha-2-delta ligand that modulates voltage-gated calcium channels to reduce the release of excitatory neurotransmitters, thereby decreasing pain signaling. Mecobalamin, an active form of vitamin B12, promotes myelin sheath synthesis and supports the regeneration and repair of damaged nerve fibers.
