Overview

MED103 is an RNA-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Medley Therapeutics for the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD). The drug is designed to modulate the Hippo signaling pathway, a critical regulator of tissue regeneration and organ size. Specifically, MED103 targets the transcriptional coactivators YAP (Yes-associated protein) and TAZ (Transcriptional coactivator with PDZ-binding motif). By enhancing the activity of these factors through RNA-based delivery or modulation, the therapy aims to stimulate angiogenesis and promote the repair of damaged vascular tissue in patients suffering from limb ischemia associated with PAD. MED103 is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
