Overview

MED403 is a preclinical genetic medicine candidate developed by Medley Therapeutics (formerly YAP Therapeutics) for the treatment of peripheral artery disease (PAD). It utilizes a genetic medicine approach to target the YAP/Hippo signaling pathway, which is a critical regulator of organ size and tissue regeneration. By modulating this pathway, MED403 aims to activate the body's innate regenerative capabilities to induce or regenerate vascular tissue in patients suffering from PAD. The technology is part of a Genetic Medicine Platform licensed from the Baylor College of Medicine and the Texas Heart Institute, specifically designed to restore function in degenerative and ischemic conditions.
