Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MEDI-575 + carboplatin + paclitaxel is a combination therapy that was investigated for the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). MEDI-575 is a fully human monoclonal antibody that selectively binds to platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha (PDGFRα) with high specificity. This combination was studied in a Phase 1b/2 clinical trial to evaluate its efficacy, safety, and pharmacology compared to carboplatin plus paclitaxel alone in previously untreated advanced NSCLC patients.
