Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MEDI7352 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody designed to simultaneously inhibit nerve growth factor (NGF) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α). By targeting both NGF and TNF-α pathways, it aims to modulate pain signaling and inflammation. The drug was developed for the treatment of chronic pain conditions such as painful osteoarthritis of the knee and painful diabetic neuropathy. It was initially developed by MedImmune (a subsidiary of AstraZeneca) and later advanced by AstraZeneca. Clinical trials have evaluated its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in these indications[1][2][3][4][5].
