Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MediCabilis CBD oil is a pharmaceutical-grade full-spectrum cannabis oil extract derived from a unique cultivar of Cannabis sativa L. (LINNEA 315CSE). The formulation is standardized to deliver cannabidiol (CBD and CBDA) at 50 mg/mL with low levels of delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), not exceeding 2 mg/mL. It also contains minor cannabinoids such as cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC), and cannabidivarin (CBDV) in smaller amounts. The carrier is medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil sourced from coconut. This product is manufactured under GMP conditions and has been used in clinical trials for chronic conditions such as Long COVID. Its mechanism of action primarily involves modulation of the endocannabinoid system through cannabinoid receptors, with non-intoxicating effects due to its high CBD and low THC content[1][2][7][9].
