Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MegaLT is an allogeneic megakaryocyte (MK) product, specifically an ex vivo three-dimensional induced umbilical cord blood mononuclear cells differentiated megakaryocyte injection. It is being developed for treating refractory thrombocytopenia following radiotherapy, chemotherapy, or transplantation. Its mechanism involves providing megakaryocytes, which are precursor cells for platelet production, to improve platelet counts. It is administered as an injection. It is described as an off-the-shelf, cryopreserved allogeneic MK product.
