MegaNatural-BP is a patented, water-extracted grape seed extract (GSE) developed by Polyphenolics, a division of Constellation Brands. It is characterized by a high concentration of low-molecular-weight polyphenols, specifically proanthocyanidins, which are standardized for optimal bioavailability. The extract's primary mechanism of action is the activation of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) in the blood vessel lining. This activation leads to increased production of nitric oxide (NO), a potent vasodilator that relaxes arterial walls and improves blood flow. Clinical research, including studies conducted at the University of California, Davis, has demonstrated that MegaNatural-BP can significantly reduce both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in individuals with prehypertension and metabolic syndrome.
