Overview
Mei Ri Yi Jun is a probiotic combination product containing *Bifidobacterium lactis*, *Lactobacillus plantarum*, inulin, and Vitamin C. Developed and produced by Wedge Pharmaceuticals, it is designed to restore the balance of the gut microbiota and prevent intestinal infections, particularly following the disruption caused by bowel preparation agents like polyethylene glycol used before colonoscopies. The product combines live biotherapeutic strains with a prebiotic (inulin) and an antioxidant (Vitamin C) to promote the recovery of qualitative and quantitative microbial diversity in the gastrointestinal tract and mitigate the risk of infection associated with bowel cleansing.
