Overview

**Dolocam Plus** is an oral fixed-dose combination of **meloxicam** and **methocarbamol** manufactured by Representaciones e Investigaciones Médicas. Meloxicam is an oxicam nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that inhibits cyclooxygenase-mediated prostaglandin synthesis, with relative preference for cyclooxygenase-2. Methocarbamol is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant thought to reduce muscle spasm through generalized central nervous system depressant effects. The product is supplied as capsules containing either 7.5 mg or 15 mg meloxicam plus 215 mg methocarbamol and is indicated for painful musculoskeletal conditions accompanied by inflammation, muscle spasm, and restricted mobility, including traumatic injuries, muscle strains, torticollis, bursitis, arthritis, tendinitis, and muscle contractures.
