A high-dose chemotherapy combination regimen consisting of melphalan, mitoxantrone, paclitaxel, and thiotepa. This regimen was studied primarily for metastatic breast cancer, administered as two cycles of melphalan, thiotepa, and paclitaxel followed by two cycles of mitoxantrone, thiotepa, and paclitaxel. Each cycle is supported with autologous peripheral blood progenitor cells to manage myelosuppression.
