**Melredableukin alfa (RG7835, RO7049665)** is a fusion protein consisting of a human non-binding IgG1-κ constant region fused via a peptide linker to a mutated human interleukin-2 (IL-2 mutein). Developed by Roche, it is engineered as an IL-2 receptor agonist with selective bias toward IL-2Rβγ signaling to preferentially expand effector T cells and NK cells while minimizing regulatory T cell activation. It has been investigated primarily for autoimmune diseases including autoimmune hepatitis (Phase 2) and ulcerative colitis (Phase 1), leveraging its immunomodulatory properties to promote pro-inflammatory responses in targeted tissues.[1][2][3][5][7][8]
