Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Memoril Mite is a 600 mg film-coated tablet containing piracetam, a nootropic agent developed and manufactured by Meditop Pharmaceutical. It is indicated for the improvement of memory, attention, and motivation in adults, particularly those experiencing age-related cognitive decline or memory disorders. As a derivative of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), piracetam's mechanism of action involves the positive allosteric modulation of AMPA-type glutamate receptors and the restoration of neuronal membrane fluidity, which enhances neuroplasticity and neurotransmission. Additionally, it improves cerebral microcirculation by reducing blood viscosity and inhibiting platelet aggregation. In the Hungarian market, Memoril Mite is recognized as a non-prescription (OTC) medication for cognitive complaints.
