Meningococcal ACWY conjugate vaccine

The meningococcal ACWY conjugate vaccine is an immunization designed to protect against invasive disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, W, and Y. It works by inducing the immune system to produce antibodies against the polysaccharide capsules of these four serogroups after they are chemically linked (conjugated) to a carrier protein.
