Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Nimenrix + Priorix-Tetra refers to the concomitant administration of two separate vaccines developed by GSK. **Nimenrix** is a quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine (MenACWY-TT) that uses tetanus toxoid as a carrier protein and is indicated for the prevention of invasive meningococcal disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, W-135, and Y. **Priorix-Tetra** is a live attenuated vaccine containing measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella (MMRV) antigens. These biologics are typically administered together during the second year of life (12–15 months) to simplify pediatric vaccination schedules. Clinical trials have demonstrated that co-administration at different injection sites is safe and does not significantly interfere with the immunogenicity or safety profile of either vaccine, ensuring protective antibody levels against all eight targeted pathogens.
