ACYW135群脑膜炎球菌结合疫苗 (MCV-4) is a quadrivalent polysaccharide conjugate vaccine developed by **Suzhou Juwei Biological Technology** (苏州聚微生物科技). The vaccine is designed to prevent invasive meningococcal disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, Y, and W135. Unlike plain polysaccharide vaccines, this conjugate formulation chemically links the capsular polysaccharides of the four serogroups to a carrier protein, which enhances the immune response by engaging T-cells. This mechanism is particularly critical for inducing long-term immunological memory and providing protection in infants and young children. The drug is currently in **Phase 3** clinical trials in China, targeting a broad age range from infants to adults.
