Meningococcal group B multicomponent recombinant vaccines are biologic vaccines designed to prevent invasive disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroup B. The two main marketed products are Bexsero and Trumenba. - **Bexsero** is a four-component vaccine containing recombinant proteins factor H binding protein (fHbp), Neisserial adhesin A (NadA), Neisserial heparin binding antigen (NHBA), and outer membrane vesicles (OMV) from *N. meningitidis*[1][5]. - **Trumenba** contains two variants of the fHbp protein, targeting both subfamilies A and B[4][8]. The mechanism of action involves stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against these surface proteins, leading to complement-mediated antibody-dependent killing of *N. meningitidis*[1][8]. These antibodies confer protection by targeting key virulence factors required for bacterial survival and invasion. These vaccines are indicated for prevention of invasive disease caused by serogroup B *N. meningitidis* in individuals aged 10–25 years[7].
