The concomitant administration of meningococcal group C (MenC) conjugate vaccines and acellular pertussis-containing booster vaccines refers to a vaccination regimen evaluated in the Phase III/IV 'Multiboost' (or 'Mutliboost') clinical trial conducted by Public Health England. This study assessed the safety and immunogenicity of co-administering these vaccines in adolescents aged 13 to 17 years to inform the United Kingdom's national immunization schedule. The MenC component involved various conjugate vaccines, including Meningitec, Menjugate, NeisVac-C, or the MenC-Hib combination Menitorix. The pertussis component was typically delivered via quadrivalent boosters such as Repevax or IPV-Boostrix, which also provide protection against diphtheria, tetanus, and poliomyelitis. The regimen aims to simplify the adolescent immunization schedule by allowing multiple priority boosters to be administered during a single visit.
