Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Meningococcal group C polysaccharide conjugate vaccine adsorbed is a vaccine containing group-specific polysaccharide antigens extracted and purified from Neisseria meningitidis serogroup C, conjugated to a carrier protein and adsorbed onto an adjuvant. It is designed to provide active immunization against invasive meningococcal disease caused specifically by serogroup C. The vaccine works by stimulating the immune system to produce antibodies against the capsular polysaccharides of N. meningitidis serogroup C.
