This is a combination of two vaccines used to protect against invasive bacterial diseases in children and at-risk populations. The first component is the meningococcal group C polysaccharide-tetanus toxoid conjugate vaccine (MenC-TT), which consists of the capsular polysaccharide from *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroup C covalently linked to tetanus toxoid as a carrier protein. This conjugation enhances immunogenicity by inducing T-cell dependent immune responses and immune memory even in infants[1]. The second component is the pneumococcal 7-valent CRM197-conjugate vaccine (PCV7), which contains purified capsular polysaccharides from seven *Streptococcus pneumoniae* serotypes individually conjugated to CRM197, a non-toxic mutant of diphtheria toxin. Both vaccines work by stimulating the immune system to produce protective antibodies against their respective pathogens[1][4][5]. These vaccines are highly effective in preventing serious diseases such as bacterial meningitis and sepsis caused by these bacteria.
