Drug intelligence / Profile preview
meningococcal vaccine GSK134612 + Cervarix + Boostrix is a co-administration vaccine regimen developed by GSK, specifically evaluated for use in adolescents and young adults. The regimen consists of three distinct vaccine products: GSK134612 (a pentavalent MenABCWY vaccine candidate), Cervarix (a bivalent HPV vaccine), and Boostrix (a Tdap booster). GSK134612 combines the components of the approved vaccines Bexsero and Menveo to provide broad protection against Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, B, C, W, and Y. Cervarix targets HPV types 16 and 18, which are responsible for the majority of cervical cancers, using the AS04 adjuvant system. Boostrix provides booster immunization against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. This combination approach aims to improve vaccination compliance by reducing the number of clinical visits required to complete the recommended adolescent immunization schedule.
