Overview

**Menphecia** is China's first bivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine using the CRM197 carrier protein, developed by CanSino Biologics for active immunization against invasive diseases caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A and C, including bacteremic pneumonia, meningitis, sepsis, and bacteremia. It is supplied as a 0.5 mL single-dose vial of lyophilized powder for reconstitution and intramuscular injection, offering safer and superior immunogenicity compared to prior vaccines. Approved by China's NMPA in June 2021, it has been commercialized across 30 provinces.[1][3]
