Menvaid

**Menvaid** is a thermostable pentavalent meningococcal polysaccharide conjugate vaccine for active immunization against invasive disease caused by *Neisseria meningitidis* serogroups A, C, W, Y, and X. It contains capsular polysaccharide antigens conjugated to tetanus toxoid and CRM197 carrier proteins, enabling T-cell-dependent immune responses. Menvaid is marketed by Pharm Aid under license from Serum Institute of India, which developed the underlying NmCV-5 vaccine with PATH; the same vaccine is marketed internationally as MenFive.
