Overview

A combination of mequitazine, an H1-receptor antagonist (antihistamine), and pranlukast, a cysteinyl leukotriene receptor-1 antagonist. This combination may be used in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. Mequitazine helps alleviate symptoms such as sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, and itchy, watery eyes, while pranlukast works by antagonizing or reducing bronchospasm caused by allergic reactions by blocking the cysteinyl leukotriene receptor-1.
