MER769 is a therapeutic monoclonal antibody developed by Merida Biosciences for the treatment of various IgE-mediated allergic diseases, including food allergy, severe asthma, atopic dermatitis, and urticaria. The antibody is designed to neutralize and eliminate circulating Immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies, thereby preventing the activation of mast cells and basophils that drive the allergic inflammatory response. As of 2024, MER769 is in the IND-enabling phase of development.
