Overview

**Meralys HA** is an over-the-counter, preservative-free intranasal decongestant product family developed and manufactured by JGL. It contains xylometazoline hydrochloride in either 0.5 mg/mL for children aged 2–12 years or 1 mg/mL for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older, with seawater and sodium hyaluronate. Xylometazoline is a sympathomimetic nasal vasoconstrictor that reduces mucosal swelling and nasal congestion associated with rhinitis or sinusitis; sodium hyaluronate moisturizes and protects the nasal mucosa.
