Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) derived from perinatal tissue are a cell therapy product under development by Aspire Health Science, a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO). These cells, typically harvested from tissues such as the umbilical cord or placenta, are multipotent stromal cells capable of differentiating into various cell lineages and possessing significant immunomodulatory and regenerative potential. Aspire Health Science is currently in the preclinical stage of process development for these cells, focusing on leveraging their ability to modulate inflammatory environments and promote tissue repair through the secretion of trophic factors and direct cellular interactions.
