Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Mesenchymal stromal cell-derived extracellular vesicle complex is an investigational, allogeneic, cell-free biologic therapy developed by Good Cells LLC. It is designed for the treatment of vulvovaginal atrophy (VVA), specifically targeting symptoms such as vaginal dryness and pain in peri- and postmenopausal women. The therapeutic consists of extracellular vesicles (EVs) harvested from mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs), which contain a complex cargo of proteins, microRNAs, and mRNAs. These bioactive molecules are intended to modulate inflammatory processes and stimulate tissue repair and regeneration within the vaginal mucosa following a single intramucosal injection.
