Overview
MesenCure is an allogeneic cell therapy product developed by Bonus BioGroup, consisting of activated mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) derived from the adipose tissue of healthy donors. The cells are expanded and activated using a proprietary three-dimensional (3D) technology designed to enhance their anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory capabilities. MesenCure is primarily indicated for the treatment of Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS), including cases triggered by COVID-19, where it aims to mitigate the "cytokine storm" by reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6 and TNF-alpha) and increasing anti-inflammatory factors. By restoring immune balance and promoting the regeneration of damaged lung tissue, MesenCure seeks to improve respiratory function and reduce mortality in critically ill patients.
