Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MESO-HSS1 is a full-length human IgG monoclonal antibody targeting mesothelin (MSLN), a cell-surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various malignancies including pancreatic, ovarian, and lung cancers. Developed primarily as an immunoPET imaging agent, MESO-HSS1 can be radiolabeled (e.g., with Zirconium-89) or used in pretargeting strategies (e.g., using TCO-Tz click chemistry) to detect mesothelin-positive tumors. Research indicates it is effective for imaging even in low-mesothelin-expressing cancer lines like H596, showing high tumor-to-organ ratios, particularly in pancreatic cancer models.
