Overview

Mesothelin CAR-T cells are a form of adoptive cell therapy that uses chimeric antigen receptors (CARs) to target mesothelin, a cell surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various solid tumors such as mesothelioma, lung, pancreas, breast, and ovarian cancers. This therapy involves engineering T cells to recognize and attack cancer cells expressing mesothelin, enhancing T-cell function and persistence. The approach aims to overcome challenges in solid tumor treatment by improving T-cell infiltration and survival within the tumor microenvironment.
