Mesothelin-targeted CAR-NK cell injection (CN-NK01) is an investigational allogeneic chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by National Health Chengno Biotechnology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. The therapy consists of NK cells engineered to express a CAR that specifically targets mesothelin (MSLN), a cell-surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed in various solid tumors, including epithelial ovarian cancer, but has limited expression in normal tissues. By utilizing NK cells, this approach aims to provide a potent anti-tumor response with a lower risk of graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) and cytokine release syndrome (CRS) compared to traditional CAR-T cell therapies. In clinical development, the injection is administered intraperitoneally to treat patients with mesothelin-positive, platinum-resistant advanced epithelial ovarian cancer, focusing on safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor efficacy.
