MET-GGGi is a long-acting peptide triple agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and glucagon (GCG) receptors. Developed by D&D Pharmatech, the drug utilizes the company's proprietary long-acting technology to extend its half-life for injectable administration. It is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of obesity, aiming to leverage the synergistic effects of all three metabolic hormones to maximize weight loss and improve metabolic health. The 'i' in the name distinguishes this injectable formulation from the company's oral version, MET-GGGo.
