Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Meta10-19 is a **metabolically armed, IL-10-expressing CD19-targeted CAR-T cell therapy**. It is engineered to deliver interleukin-10 (IL-10), an immunoregulatory cytokine, alongside the conventional anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) transgene, conferring enhanced metabolic fitness and immunomodulation. Meta10-19 is intended as a one-time infusion for treatment of **relapsed or refractory CD19-positive B cell malignancies (notably diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, DLBCL)** and is under active investigation for difficult-to-treat autoimmune diseases including **systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE)**. Preclinical and clinical studies report robust anti-tumor activity, high rates of complete remission, durable activity, and a favorable safety profile with very low rate of classic CAR-T-associated adverse events like cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity, even at ultra-low cell doses. Meta10-19 was developed to address both efficacy and safety limitations of traditional CAR-T therapies, and early evidence suggests potential for safe, accessible, and high-quality cell therapy[1][2][3][5][10].
