Meta10-EGFRvIII is an experimental chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy designed to target the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor variant III (EGFRvIII), a tumor-specific neoantigen frequently expressed in glioblastoma multiforme. The therapy utilizes the proprietary Meta10 metabolic reprogramming technology, which involves the co-expression of specific metabolic enzymes (such as the metalloenzyme dimethylarginine dimethylaminohydrolase 1 or other metabolic modulators) to enhance the fitness, persistence, and polyfunctionality of T cells within the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. By optimizing the metabolic state of the CAR-T cells, Meta10-EGFRvIII aims to overcome the traditional barriers of T-cell exhaustion and poor infiltration that have limited the efficacy of cell therapies in solid tumors.
