Drug intelligence / Profile preview
methylcobalamin + folic acid + pyridoxine + cholecalciferol is an oral combination vitamin and nutritional supplement developed by Invenex Pharma. This formulation is primarily indicated for the management of peripheral neuropathy, megaloblastic anemia, and general nutritional deficiencies. It contains methylcobalamin (1500 mcg), a bioactive coenzyme form of Vitamin B12 that supports nerve regeneration and myelin sheath formation by acting as a cofactor for methionine synthase. Folic acid (5 mg) and pyridoxine hydrochloride (3 mg) are included to facilitate DNA synthesis and neurotransmitter metabolism, respectively. Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3, 1000 IU) is incorporated to maintain calcium homeostasis and provide neuroprotective benefits. Together, these components work synergistically to improve neurological function and metabolic health.
