Metox

**Metox** is an unapproved homeopathic oral liquid marketed in the United States by Deseret Biologicals for the temporary relief of symptoms attributed to heavy-metal toxicity, including cough, poor concentration, nausea, vomiting, occasional diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, sweating, and metallic taste. It is a heterogeneous homeopathic preparation containing highly diluted botanical, mineral, amino-acid, animal-derived, and metal-associated ingredients. The FDA labeling states that the product has not been evaluated for safety or efficacy and that the FDA is not aware of scientific evidence supporting homeopathy as effective.
