metronidazole + prednisone + vancomycin

This is a combination therapy consisting of metronidazole (an antibiotic), prednisone (a corticosteroid), and vancomycin (an antibiotic). The combination has been used in the treatment of steroid-refractory ulcerative colitis, particularly when complicated by *Clostridium difficile* infection.
