Overview

MF-1305 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody (BsAb) that simultaneously targets the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and the hepatocyte growth factor receptor (c-Met/MET). Developed by Mabwell (Shanghai) Bioscience, the drug is designed to treat advanced solid tumors, with a primary focus on non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The dual-targeting mechanism is intended to overcome resistance to EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), which often occurs through the activation of the c-Met signaling pathway. By binding to both receptors, MF-1305 inhibits downstream oncogenic signaling pathways involved in cell proliferation and survival. It is currently undergoing Phase 1/2 clinical evaluation to determine its safety, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced malignancies.
