MG-7 antigen-pulsed autologous dendritic cell vaccine is an experimental personalized immunotherapy designed to treat gastric cancer. The vaccine is produced by isolating dendritic cells (DCs) from a patient's own peripheral blood, maturing them in vitro, and pulsing them with the MG-7 antigen, a specific gastric cancer-associated antigen. Once re-infused into the patient, these primed dendritic cells act as professional antigen-presenting cells that display MG-7 epitopes to the host's immune system. This process triggers the activation and proliferation of MG-7-specific cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) and helper T cells, which then selectively target and eliminate MG-7-expressing gastric carcinoma cells. This therapeutic approach is primarily developed by research institutions in China to provide a targeted immune response against tumor recurrence and metastasis in gastric cancer patients.
