MG-T-19

MG-T-19 is a small-molecule inhibitor of the immune checkpoint receptor T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin-domain containing-3 (TIM-3), reported as a research tool compound rather than a clinically developed therapeutic. It effectively blocks TIM-3 interactions with its ligands phosphatidylserine (PtdSer), carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1 (CEACAM1), and galectin-9 (Gal-9), thereby enhancing T-cell activation and increasing production of tumor-reactive cytokines in preclinical systems. MG-T-19 is primarily used experimentally to investigate TIM-3 biology and immune regulation, and there is no evidence of clinical development, approved indications, or commercial pharmaceutical formulation.
