Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MG010 is a small molecule C-Raf (RAF1) inhibitor developed by Metagone Biotech Australia Pty Ltd. It is a novel salted formulation of the compound GW5074. MG010 specifically targets mitochondrial C-Raf and the phosphorylated Death-Associated Protein Kinase (DAPK) complex within cancer cells, leading to mitochondrial dysfunction and subsequent apoptosis. It is primarily being investigated as an oral therapy in combination with the multi-kinase inhibitor sorafenib (the combination is designated MGD-1609) for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, renal cell carcinoma, and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
