Overview

MG4101 is an ex vivo-expanded allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed as an off-the-shelf immunotherapy for cancer. It is designed to enhance antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), particularly in combination with monoclonal antibodies such as rituximab. The therapy involves the infusion of NK cells derived from healthy donors and expanded outside the body to increase their number and activity. In clinical studies, MG4101 has shown the ability to persist in patients for at least a week post-infusion and demonstrated a favorable safety profile with mostly mild adverse events. Its primary mechanism is direct tumor cell killing via innate immune recognition and enhancement of ADCC when used alongside therapeutic antibodies[3][4][5].
