Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**MG56-II** is an investigational subcutaneous allergen-specific immunotherapy developed by **Inmunotek** for grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. It is a solution for injection containing polymerized grass pollen allergoids from a 50:50 mixture of *Phleum pratense* and *Dactylis glomerata*, conjugated using glutaraldehyde to non-oxidized *Saccharomyces cerevisiae* mannan. The mannan-allergoid platform is designed to enhance uptake by dendritic cells and promote allergen-specific immune tolerance, including induction of IL-10-producing regulatory T-cell responses. MG56-II was evaluated as the subcutaneous investigational product in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 dose-finding study in Spain at concentrations of 500, 1,000, 3,000, and 5,000 mTU/mL.
