Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**MG56-III** is an investigational, subcutaneous grass-pollen allergen immunotherapy product developed and manufactured by Inmunotek. It is a solution for injection containing polymerized allergoids prepared from a 50:50 mixture of *Phleum pratense* and *Dactylis glomerata* pollens conjugated to non-oxidized *Saccharomyces cerevisiae* mannan. Mannan promotes uptake by dendritic cells through mannose-receptor-mediated recognition, with the aim of inducing allergen-specific immune tolerance and reducing symptoms of grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. MG56-III was evaluated as an investigational medicinal product in the Phase 2 MG56-SIT-012 dose-finding study in Spain.
