Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MG56-VIII is an investigational **mannan-conjugated polymerized grass-pollen allergoid** allergen immunotherapy attributed to Inmunotek. The MG56 material evaluated clinically comprised a 50:50 mixture of *Phleum pratense* and *Dactylis glomerata* pollen allergoids conjugated with mannan and was administered by subcutaneous or sublingual routes for grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. The intended mechanism is allergen-specific immune tolerance induction through enhanced dendritic-cell engagement and downstream regulatory immune responses.
