MGTA-45

MGTA-45 is an antibody-drug conjugate consisting of an anti-human CD45 antibody conjugated to a DNA-interacting payload. It is designed to selectively target and deplete CD45-expressing hematopoietic stem cells, leukemia cells, and immune cells. The drug is intended for **conditioning prior to stem cell transplantation**, either allogeneic for blood cancers or autologous for severe autoimmune diseases, functioning as a non-chemotherapeutic alternative to traditional conditioning regimens. Preclinical studies have demonstrated efficacy in depleting target cells and supporting immune reset and successful hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. MGTA-45 is developed by Magenta Therapeutics and was in preclinical development as of early 2023.
