Drug intelligence / Profile preview
MGY1838-IBD is an autologous regulatory T cell (Treg) therapy being developed by IMMUNISBIO for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Regulatory T cells are a specialized subset of T lymphocytes that maintain immune tolerance and prevent autoimmune responses by suppressing the activity of effector T cells and other inflammatory cells. By utilizing the patient's own Tregs, MGY1838-IBD aims to mitigate the chronic inflammation characteristic of IBD and restore immune balance within the gastrointestinal tract. The program is currently in the IND-enabling stage of development.
