Overview

MH-712 is an investigational drug candidate being developed by Meter Health for the treatment of oncology-incident clinically significant hiccups. Hiccups in cancer patients are often persistent or intractable, frequently triggered by chemotherapy (especially cisplatin and dexamethasone) or the underlying malignancy itself, significantly impacting quality of life. As of early 2024, MH-712 is in the IND-enabling phase of development. While the specific mechanism of action and modality have not been publicly disclosed by Meter Health, the asset is part of their pipeline targeting supportive care in oncology.
