Drug intelligence / Profile preview
mi-TUMEXim is a preclinical-stage monoclonal antibody developed by Multimmune that specifically targets membrane-bound Heat Shock Protein 70 (mHsp70). Unlike cytosolic Hsp70, mHsp70 is exclusively expressed on the surface of various tumor cells and their metastases, but not on normal tissues, making it a highly specific biomarker for cancer. mi-TUMEXim is designed for multiple applications, including fluorescence-guided imaging (conjugated with Cy5.5) for intraoperative tumor detection and potential drug delivery. By binding to mHsp70, the antibody enables real-time visualization of colon carcinoma and other solid tumors, facilitating more precise surgical resection and diagnostic assessment.
